Letters for the cake

Here’s an easy guide to building simple glitter letters to replace the classic bride and groom figures on the cake with the couple’s initials. They can also be modified and adapted to celebrations such as hen party’s or proposals.

Let’s begin with the materials:

Empecemos por los materiales:

• Scissors
• Printed letters on white cardboard
• Wire or long wooden sticks
• Silicone or contact glue
• Spray glue
• Glitter

STEP 1:

Print the letters and cut out the silhouettes.

STEP 2:

Cover the front of the letters with glue spray and then cover the surface with glitter.

STEP 3:

Stick the wire or wooden stick to the back of the letter and when it is dry, repeat the “spray glue + glitter” operation on the back of the letter.

And once it is all dry… Voilà! You can stick the letters on the cake
